Children's Ministry
We are pleased to welcome you to our Children’s Ministry, Kid’s Stuff!
Kid’s Stuff at Heritage Baptist Church is committed to assisting parents in fulfilling the scriptural command to train their children in a way that honors the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-9).
Children thru 5th grade are engaged in creative Bible studies and activities that are age appropriate and designed to provide weekly fellowship opportunities. We use a Bible-based curriculum, activity teaching, and structured play to learn more about Jesus. We use Lifeway Curriculum on Sundays and Group Curriculum on Wednesdays.
Our Goal
- To lay a spiritual foundation so that each child is aware of God’s love and understands the gospel.
- To provide a safe, clean, Christ-centered environment for children at church.
- To help each child feel comfortable, secure, and loved.
- To help each child know the Bible is a special book that tells about God and Jesus.
- To help each child learn to share and think of others.
- To partner with parents to disciple children to impact their world for Jesus Christ
- To encourage the active participation of parents in Worship, Bible study, fellowship and service.
